In August 2024 we undertook a large project with a global freight forwarder. We collected 360 TEU’s from Cork Container Terminal (CCT). The containers were delivered to our Ringaskiddy depot just 1km from the port. The containers were first lifted from our trailers and placed on the ground. Each container was loaded with 20,000 kg of steel racking which had to be offloaded, pallets rebuilt and then loaded and secured onto a mix of curtain siders and flat trailers for onward delivery to site. The empty containers were reloaded onto our skeletal trailers and returned to their respective empty depots. A rubbish removal service was also provided to remove excess dunnage from the containers as the site could not accept delivery with it. Individual packing lists and delivery notes were created for each delivery and returned to the freight forwarder within 24 hours of delivery.
